The Literary Phoenix

Linna Drehmel was born at the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho in 1973 and grew up surrounded by military. She has spent much of her life studying anthropology and has a particular fondness for archaeology. She loves to find ways to intertwine anthropological and archaeological themes into her writing. She also has a strong understanding of what the reader likes, as she herself is an avid reader.
Linna has been writing main stream sci-fi and gothic fantasy but wanted to explore the hot and dark side of story-telling. She borrowed the name of Louisa Albrect, one of her German ancestors’ names, and started writing things so hot she thought her keyboard would melt.
As Louisa her stories revolve around gothic fantasy, but with the heat turned up making her readers sweat and beg for more. As always Linna/ Louisa writes with the music of her muses like Obscure Pleasures, William Control, Ashestoangels, Ugly Love, Evilyn, Fearless Vampire Killers, and Depeche Mode.  She lets their music guide and inspire her.
